I knew a girl once who never felt like she belonged anywhere, not home, not school, not the world, not even in her own skin. She felt battered, alone, scared, abused and ignored. She never felt there was an answer for her, nor help to be found. She was wrong.
I am that woman who knows now that it was only a matter of time before she found that help, found that place that was hers to occupy. Although the road to recovering myself is a long hard one, I know I can succeed in following it. There will be ups, there will be downs, but, it is there and I can follow it and I know I will eventually find myself.
